Phase I treatment prepares the jaw and aligns the foundation, which makes Phase II (full braces or aligners) much shorter, easier, and far less invasive. While most children still benefit from Phase II to fine-tune individual tooth positions, Phase I prevents complex problems like tooth extractions or jaw surgery.
